The Belden Multimedia Control Cable is a high-performance, composite control cable designed for integrated data and power transmission in multimedia systems. It combines 1 pair of 22 AWG stranded tinned copper conductors for data communication, insulated with Foamed Polyethylene (FPE), and 2 conductors of 18 AWG stranded tinned copper for power, insulated with Flame-Retardant PVC. A Beldfoil® shield with drain wire protects the data pair against EMI, ensuring clean signal transmission in noisy environments. The overall Flame-Retardant PVC jacket is riser-rated (CMR) for safe vertical installations within buildings.
