hose rack assembly (Hose station)

The Hose Rack Assembly, also known as a Hose Station, is a vital component in standpipe and fire hose systems, designed for first aid firefighting in commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings. It consists of a pin-type hose rack, semi-rigid or layflat fire hose, hose valve, and shut-off nozzle, often housed within a wall-mounted cabinet for fast, visible access.

Engineered for manual operation by building occupants or trained personnel, the hose rack assembly ensures rapid water deployment in the early stages of a fire emergency. The hose is folded on the rack and automatically releases water when fully deployed and the valve is opened.

Key Features:

  • Complete station includes pin rack, hose valve, hose, and nozzle

  • Supports 1.5″ or 2.5″ diameter layflat fire hoses, up to 100 feet

  • Rack designed to swing out for easy hose deployment

  • Hose automatically charges when fully pulled from the rack (automatic rack optional)

  • Made from corrosion-resistant materials (stainless steel, brass, aluminum)
